Park Jaehun 박재훈

Artist Jaehun Park (b. 1986, South Korea) is a digital sculptor, Animator, and Simulator.
He utilizes computer graphic 3D simulation in a virtual digital space to reveal the human
impact on the Earth's ecosystem caused by hyper-capitalism and humanity’s endless
desires. 
Appropriating digital ready-made objects and game assets, he deeply reflects
on the ordinary objects that have religious-capitalistic allegory and the digital space
related to the ritual structure of advertisement and consumerism. 

박재훈(ParkJaehun,1986)작가는 디지털 조각가이자, 애니메이터, 시뮬레이터이다. 
3D 컴퓨터 그래픽 이미지 기술(CGI-ComputerGraphicImage)을 활용해 
하이퍼 자본주의와 인간의 끝없는 욕망이 지구 생태계에 미치는 인류의 영향력을 드러내고자 한다.
그는 직접 3D모 델링을 하거나, 게임 개발자들이 만들어 놓은 디지털 레디메이드(ready-made)데이터를 수집한 후 
그것을 가공, 분해, 재조합해 가상의 디지털 공간에 배치한다. 
이러한 게임 산업의 부산물들인 디지털 레디메이드를 이용해 사물들이 가진 종교-자본적 알레고리를 탐구하고, 
컴퓨터 시뮬레이션이 내포하고 있는 회화적 공간의 깊이와 조각적 가능성을 연구하고 있다.
