Even after the end of an individual's life, the ongoing history is compressed into a work through the original recording, in which the artist carves out a cross-section of the book and engraves a stroke.

화면 가득 시야를 채우는 한지는 인간의 지적 행위의 상징인 책의 단면이기도 합니다. 개인의 삶이 저문 후에도 무정히 현재진행 중인 역사는 작가가 책의 단면을 조각도로 파내며 획을 새기는 원초적인 기록행위를 통해 작품으로 압축됩니다.
