Lee Gawon 이가원

Lee Gawon (1999) reinterprets inspiration drawn from the aesthetic forms of traditional Korean furniture and calligraphy, 
combining it with minimalism to create contemporary furniture.
She connects the profound inclusiveness of the color of muk (Asian ink) and the graceful curves evident in calligraphic brushstrokes to create simple and intuitive pieces centered around the theme of modern rest.
